A few days ago I've stumbled upon this teaser of the Romanian Apparel collection created by Lana on Vice , and I fell in love with it from the first second. Also, there was this funny description which perfectly sums up the Romanian style and culture.

"we have termopans
we have electronic musik, popular musi, easy musik
we have art, contemporary
we have mici, smalls, you know
we have design
we have traffic and we have jam, plums jam, very good
we have nice cars and beautiful girls
we have mountains, nice rocks and good beach
we have capital, big capital, bukarest, we have romanian apparel"

After seeing the pics from the entire collection I was stunned and awed with the beauty, simplicity and the"back-to-basics" air that the dresses give to me.

RO FASHION : Andreea Badala

I know I haven't written anything about fashion in Romania and about its designers , but everything has a start and I thought it would be nice to mark the beginning with the newest collections of  Andreea Badala,  one of my favourite designers at the moment .

Her latest collection called "Traces" has an amazing and unique design , a fresh view and mix between men and women's  tones and the thing I love the most is the way in which black and white are beautifully combined  with strong colours.

THE POWDER ROOM

Zoe Cassavetes made for Miu Miu,  the first short film from the series "The Miu Miu Women's Tales" which explore women rituals in the powder room.

In my point of view , the video is amazing: the colors are great , the models fit perfectly in the whole set, the place is carefully chosen: London's Claridge's Hotel , the music was breath-taking and besides the amazing dresses and bags , the shoes were the ones that made my heart skip a heartbeat.
