FASHIONABLE FOOD

Sung Yeon Ju made these awesome dresses out of real fruits and vegetables as part of her series Wearable Foods it is her first long term project she started two years ago and it still continues to this day. This series deals with the concept of creating images that interchange the actual reality and the made-up reality on many levels.  

I found this some time and at first it shocked me and made me thing of how Lady Gaga would wear one of them at the Oscars or something like that. Anyway after a close look I ended up liking them and somehow for a  moment I forgot that those amazing designs are made from fruits and vegetables and though for sure that were ''the-real-deal"

These were my favorites pieces . And I think that made from an actual proper material they would make some killer dresses. [see more  HERE ]
