While I was looking through some of my favorite blogs and magazines online, I found this incredible article about a freshly graduated Dutch designer, Ilvy Jacobs, who takes a great interest in paper bags.
''Designing bags is her specialization and for her graduation collection She’s refering to the bag as a packing function. From thinking about packing and packaging, Ilvy started to investigate ways to create a longer duration through a form and/or material addition. Hereby the bags get more value for the user. The tactile aspects of the material and sustainability are very important in her work. ''
